George Harrison wrote “Dehradun” during The Beatles’ time in Rishikesh and recorded a demo for possible inclusion on The White Album. The song was recorded during the sessions for his first solo album All Things Must Pass, but was not included on the album, and still remains unreleased.

Leave My Kitten Alone

The Beatles recorded a cover of the song “Leave My Kitten Alone” during the sessions for Beatles for Sale. The track was never mixed and not included on the album, and remained unreleased for some time. It was remixed during the 1984 Sessions project, and was prepared as the lead single from that collection. The album, as well as the single, ended up being shelved.

Watching Rainbows

“Watching Rainbows” is an unreleased Beatles song written by John Lennon and recorded during the massive Get Back sessions. The recording only featured Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as George Harrison had temporarily quit the band during this time. The song eventually evolved into “I’ve Got a Feeling.”

Sour Milk Sea

George Harrison wrote “Sour Milk Sea” during The Beatles’ stay in Rishikesh, and recorded a demo of the song at his home in Esher, with the other members of the band playing along. The song was given to fellow Apple artist Jackie Lomax, who released it as a single in 1968. The Beatles’ version has not been officially released.

Come and Get It

“Come and Get It” is a song written by Paul McCartney and released as a single by the band Badfinger. McCartney’s original demo was eventually included on the Beatles Anthology 3 album.

Jealous Guy

While studying with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in India with The Beatles, John Lennon wrote an acoustic song entitled “Child of Nature.” The song, while written around the time of the White Album sessions, was left unreleased. Lennon revisited the melody and rewrote the lyrics to become “Jealous Guy”, which was eventually included on his hit album Imagine.

Not Guilty

George Harrison wrote “Not Guilty” for inclusion on The Beatles’ White Album. The band recorded 102 takes of the track, though it was never actually included on the album. Harrison released a slower, acoustic version of the originally very hard rock song on his self-titled album in 1979, and a remixed version of the original Beatles’ track was included on The Beatles Anthology 3.
