Red and Blue Albums

The Beatles released 1962-1966 and 1967-1970 – better known as the “Red” and “Blue” greatest hits albums, respectively – in 1973. The compilations were assembled by Beatles’ manager Allen Klein, with approval from the band themselves, to compete with the unofficial bootleg compilation called Alpha Omega that was being sold on TV. The albums have recently been remastered and re-released on CD.
