A Toot and a Snore

In March 1974, Paul and Linda McCartney decided to drop in on a recording session that John Lennon was producing for singer Harry Nilsson in Los Angeles. The two former┬áBeatles began an impromptu jam session, joined by Nilsson, Stevie Wonder, Jesse Ed Davis, May Pang and Bobby Keys. The sessions, though deemed to not have been very productive, were eventually released on a bootleg album entitled A Toot and a Snore in ’74. This was to be the first and last time the two men recorded together following the breakup of The Beatles.
